Livia’s House ( Domus Liviæ )
was named after Augustus’ wife’s name and was probably the emperor’s himself house,
as he always refused to build a palace, fearing to be too closely associated with monarchy.
Still today, one can visit some halls among which his working room (tablinum) and some wings.
