In the centre of the picture, the Vicus Patricius seen in a bird’s eye view. This ancient street, between the Cispius and the Viminale, corresponds today to the Via Urbana. It began close to the Baths of Diocletian, which you can see down right of the picture, and went down the slope until Suburra. Apart from the Baths of Timothy which you can see in the centre of the picture, on the right of the Vicus Patricius, this way was only lined with Insulæ.
