This drawing shows a recontruction of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. The claddings as well as the marble paving stones, the mosaic floors, the white marble rows, all this luxury gave to the building a magnificent aspect. The ceiling of the stage was made of cedar, which impressed the contemporaries. On the right of the picture, the western end of the Stoa of Eumenes which comes to touch the Odeon.
