The temple of Gula, top right, and the temple of Ninurta, bottom left,
were situated south of the Esagila or temple of Marduk. These two temples
had more or less the same configuration as the temples of Ninmach and Ishtar.
These temples end up the list of the great architectural complexes alongside the Euphrates.
Seen from this angle, you can see the great Processional Way that runs along the walls
of the temple of Marduk at the top of the picture, and leads to the temple of Ninurta
at the bottom of the picture.
